Detailed Description
This A2-B1 ESL class gives students vocabulary to talk about discomforts and teaches them to give advice. It may be adapted for level A1+.
Students match the discomforts with the pictures. It is a good idea to focus on pronunciation here, especially with expressions such as ‘stomach ache’. They then connect them with instructions. Following this, they learn expressions to give advice, focusing on using the infinitive or gerund.
If you are teaching online, students may like to receive a copy they can print and use before the class.
