The lesson begins with a self-reflection activity where students consider their own attitudes towards money and identify areas for improvement. They then move on to a grammar and speaking exercise where they add the missing prepositions to questions and discuss their answers as a group.
The lesson also includes a discussion on ways to save money and explores various topics such as food and drink, keeping fit, transportation, and technology. To enhance their language skills, students learn six common idioms about money and practice using them in context. In the Teacher’s Insights, a final debate activity is suggested if there is still time remaining.
