Detailed Description
In today’s lesson, adults and older teens look at what employers mean by an “AI-native” worker and how to become one, while they practise business vocabulary, AI acronyms and conditionals for problems and solutions.
The lesson begins with a kickoff conversation about how students use AI now, followed by a matching exercise on the main types of AI (chatbots, image and video tools, voice AI, agents, coding assistants and open-weight models) and an acronym test with LLM, GPT, AGI, API, RAG and more.
Next, students tick an AI-native checklist to get their own AI fitness score, sort the advantages and risks of AI at work, and read six tips for getting “AI fit” before they make a four-week plan with going to.
The lesson then turns to a skill AI can’t do for you: finding the real problem before jumping to a solution. Students learn questions for finding the root cause and the first and second conditionals, solve four short cases, and then find problems in their own company or an imagined one.
The lesson ends with a fun filler quiz on AI history and a debate about AI and work.
